What is the glossiest soap?

I already have my favorite stripper, chemical guys citrus wash but what is your favorite glosser for maintenance washes?

Anyone try CG's hybrid V7 wash? I want something with NO protection. I like my coatings naked.

If you want your coatings "naked" with no protection; then you don't want a gloss enhancing soap. The "gloss enhancers" are something that is left behind and are basically a shiny layer of protection.

I always thought glossifiers washed off once it rains and never added protection.

Super Slick & Suds for bare naked .. Super Slick & Wax for the just waxed Gloss ... both available at the Autopia Store ;)

My expeperience with glossifiers is that some are better than others. So some last longer than others. Like with CG Hybrid V7; while it did add a gloss and slickness it absolutely killed the beading of my coatings till I could get it washed off. And 1 rain shower wasn't enough to do it. I had to do another good wash and I usually had to use a stronger soap mixture or something like CarPro Reset. Now I just was and use Reload or Sonax BSD.

I guess the way that I look at glossifiers could be flawed. (And I do welcome someone to explain it if I am, so I can give and have better information) But I see them as basically a form of a wash and wax. Usually with more shine and less durability; but they are similar IMO.

I'm going to do a comparison, might as well throw the kitchen sink at it!

1Z Xclusive
CG Hybrid V7 soap
PB Super Slick suds
Cpro Reset
BF wet diamond shampoo

Also going to order my fave combo for when I'm lazy with the other cars in the house 1Z perls + Cpro Hydro - the easy super uber glossy protection for non coated cars is insane.

This is a very interesting thread. I don't have much experience trying different soaps. In the 4.5 years I've had the van, I've used Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo, Optimum Car Wash, and Blackfire Wet Diamond Conditioning Shampoo. Blackfire impressed me so much that I haven't used anything else since trying it, which now has been three years or longer. Maybe the Blackfire works exceptionally well for me because it's bonding with Blackfire sealant and wax.

Citrus wash gives a great gloss for me, but i havent tried that many soaps seeking gloss so i wont claim it as the best.

Back in the day, I did a comparison of CG Citrus wash n gloss vs glossworks, both were basically even. I love citrus wash n gloss, it will always be a go to.
