Been using poorboys for over 2 yrs now. Ironically my intro into Poorboys Paste waxes was the unreleased nattys black.

I recently purchased Red.

Used it in my daily driver, 2006 nissan frontier with 124000 miles.

Black label shampoo
Optimum Paint prep on hood to get rid of whatever is left of my sealant test.

did two coats about a day or so apart with S&W in between.

Passenger doors/side bed have essence underneath applied about 5 weeks or so ago with nattys black on top of essence.

Drivers side was polished down with 4500 and exp'd back then as well. Dr side bed had ms paste on top of the exp and i freshened it up with ms spray this past sunday w the 1st coat of nattys red on the rest of the truck.

Back tailgate is still a running (26 month) pbl v1 test w synergy applied at about the 6month mark.

Smell is wonderful. Mmm strawberries

Applies easily, removes easily

Beads great.

So far not attracting much dirt. Will go with liquid Natty's blue on top next week.

Thanks for viewing

What a great wax! One of the best at any price point.

Did you notice any difference in appearance vs the black?

I've often wondered if the color of the wax really matters. I've gone as far as using a black colored wax on a white car and did not see any darkening after wipe down. I know the folks at Dodo Juice say there is a difference when using colored waxes, I have just never seen it.

black made it a tad bit darker tinted that's about it...barely noticeable -- didn't notice any flake mute with the black.. on my metallic black car or grey metallic truck

the red makes it glimmer!

black is more of a hue-ish glow tint

Yes, there is, but it may vary by brand .. I do not recommend using either our Red or upcoming Black on White vehicles as some foreign cars have been known to absorb the color  fortunately every case so far has been cured with our Professional Polish and a little work ...

I guess unless it has montan in it, sounds about right to me ..but I guess montan could also 'darken' white in theory
