TAC System SIO2 spray (reload type thing)

Ronkh

Wax Waster
There was discussion a while back that TAC system had a spray that was the "original reload" before carpro decided to make it themselves (imho cheaper).

People had years worth of problems with the re-formulated reload (me included). So when I heard that this stuff was the "original formula" I had to try it since there were lots of people that said they wish cp had stayed with the original.................

I've been sitting on 2 bottles (small ones) till I grew a big enough set to try em........ And since white is forgiving :D and Jenn's car needed a bath desperately, and I need to dilute the stuff 50/50 to try it out on the black..........

I used it like a regular QD. Sprayed reasonably liberal, wipe, flip wipe, move, repeat.

Here are some of the results:

Was easy to use. Great gloss and clarity.

Dunno about durability, and wasn't gonna hit it with water to see beading. Mother nature will do that soon enough.

So anybody know about how to deal with the micro after use of SIO2 spray?

Have heard some say ok to wash, some say must soak imm in apc.........

Mmmmm.....

Looks so good.

I have never had any issues with Reload or any other SIO2 sealants making towels hard as they are inorganic sealants and they don't "harden". So simply wash them as normal and use them again.

I think you should try it on your Vette @ 100% just to prove it works. Maybe just a fender.

You make a great point. Since I still haven't gotten it straight yet.

Gotta get braver.....

that's a good question and hopefully someone else will respond as well

I made a mix of the DP pad cleaner powder and put it in a bucket and then soaked my reload mf's in there a while back last time I used that type of si02 product
then I washed them in the washing machine- might have been overkill but who knows

I have had one bad experience with reload and one good experience

thanks for your review..i will add this to the list of wanted products to try out----now go ahead and try it on black..reload was not kind to my black SRT with pbl on top so I'll let you try TAC on black first

Oh gee, I was told nobody had problems with it unless it was user error..........

I'll flip ya for it....

Or.....................

well, it probably was user error in my case
I have since redeemed myself with reload but forgot to post that one..i will try to get that post up soon- silver truck turned out great with reload
