Price Match FAQ - Superior 40% Off

To clarify, we weren't price matching that sale because it was a "closeout" not because Superior wasn't owned by PBMG.
I really hope that didnt Need clarification (since it was made clear earlier) but thanks anyways.

I'd bet PBMG got better than 40% off... is that why you (Ray) stole the fedex truck and is now offering free shipping till end of year? Haha kidding

"We cannot match Amazon, Ebay, or other auction sites, closeouts, clearance, used items and membership clubs like Sams and Costco. Outlets are also excluded"

I do not see the word "Retirement" in the terms of the Price Matching

Maybe the cleaver choice of verbiage means Autopia should honor the 40% discount offered by their newly purchased branch

That would be awesome for me. Their store is only an hour drive away from my house.

It it would be terrible for you.

If PBMG establishes a Brick & Mortar location in your state, you will have Sales Tax assessed on the front end of everything you buy from them online; instead of voluntarily submitting the required paperwork at the end of the year to pay "your fair share", which I am sure you do

Had my cart full when PBMG ruined my New Years Eve. Maybe they will pass along the savings to us. I'm sure they got a good deal.

I doubt PBMG would buy detailing.com. They are a solid brick and mortar operation with an online component. Not the same as current PBMG model, but what do I know? Pure wild guess.

I do prefer not to pay sales tax, and I'm pretty sure ACC doesn't charge it on my orders. Free 10 minute "shipping" from detailing.com store which consists of me driving 5 miles down the 5 freeway from my house to their store is pretty nice though.

Happy new new year to you all as its New Year's Eve on the west coast as I write this.

I think retirement falls under closeout and/or clearance.
Retirement is a positive (clever) marketing term they used for going out of business...which could have been caused by numerous factors of course. Potentially connect membership alone. :) okay perhaps not.

I just don't want to be sent the old products acquired in the liquidation (pun intended). :)

I just wish there would have been a little warning. Would it have hurt the giant PBMG? Don't think so. They had the Angel products on sale AND with 40 percent off. I have been dying to give some of those products a try, but just can't justify the expense. This was my time to get some at a great price and got the rug pulled out from under my feet. I guess it was just not meant to be.

Superior Car Care "retirement" was going on for almost 2 weeks.

I did place a order from SCC for one item normally not on deep discount but if someone really wanted deep discounts on non-PBMG brand stuff you just wait for discounted gift certs sales and then use during a 20% sale so you get the equivalent discounts.
