:( Final Update On Optimum Gloss-Coat

To bad we weren't a little closer and the timing isn't a bit different. My daughter just traded in her 2011 Fusion with just shy of 40,000 miles on it. She traded it off for $12,500. The dealer sold it with 18 hrs. It was incredible shape. Silver with black leather and all the bells and whistles. It would have been something that would have made Ray feel not too different from what he was driving and it didn't need anything.

Good memory. That's the same car. I said it had 4/32's lowest I could find on 4 tire's, comes with 9/32's of tread and it would have made it through that winter. I'm a bit do it now kind of person when it comes to tire's and brakes. So technically it didn't need anything as it would have passed safety inspection anywhere. Given Ray's recent circumstance and the condition of the tire's it might not have been so special for him. He probably needs some great tread. ;)

I like how you think but that's over my budget lol. I'm thinking it's time for a motorcycle + truck and friends are telling me I can score an amazing deal by buying a bike up north this time of year since dealerships are desperate to move inventory. I wouldn't mind driving up the east coast to bring back a bike on a trailer. I would daily the bike and use the truck as needed. Especially if I need to transport the bike for any reason.

get an old school bike.

My friend, you just came through a serious crash and you're zeroing in on a bike? Perhaps you have more serious injuries than first suspected. :)

Good to hear you're alright Ray. And normally this would be a good time of year to buy a bike, but with this weather there are still people out riding theirs. But out of curiosity, what kind of bike are you looking for? I just sold mine last year but still look at what's out there periodically, so I could always keep an eye out. Although being this far north may not really save you money after traveling expenses.

So you're saying I should get the ABS model? :) The motorcycle itch is too strong.

I'm ready for a liter bike or bigger since I travel a lot on the highways. Basically any 1000cc or more sportbike from any of the big japanese manufacturers like Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Honda. I've wanted a ZX-14R forever but it's a big bike.

There was a guy up here that was selling his 08 zx-14 with 20k some miles for $6,500 with a ton of extra goodies that may have piqued your interest, but he traded it into a dealer. I'll keep an eye out for any great deals though. And if you happen to end up around here, I got several pieces of gear laying around that I may be willing to barter for detailing supplies ha.
