Favorite Waterless Wash Product?

I have tried several ww washes. Never knew that 1Z had one. Will buy one and try it soon.

Why do you like it compared to the other ww's?

To be honest it's the only one I have tried. No real need for one in my arsenal. But it goes on nice, smells good and doesn't streak.

I have used the 1Z also. Got a small sample of it. Used it on light dust on my car. I liked the product, cleaned really well and left a very slick surface, similar to Prima Slick or Optimum QD. The deal killer is price. It's sold RTU at $10 per 500 ml (17oz). Even though it seems designed to use less than a typical WW, I.e. Mist on not saturate, it would still take me a half of that bottle to do a car. Not even close to being cost effective.

There was a price comparison chart on the AG forum and almost all of the leading WW's are way less expensive than this given their ability to be diluted. UWW+ is quite cost effective, as is pinnacle. I have both of those and would can't imagine purchasing the 1Z. CG Eco a Smart is great too, but previously suffered from being cost preventative as well, but the new formulation is a fraction of the price of the old formula due it's dilution ratio. I plan to try it once I use up all of the old version that I have around.

UWW+ and Pinnacle are winners in my book.

D'oh! Either way it's a good thread bump for winter WW products. Makes me think about posting a new favorite WW poll.

Onlu used Ultima, but its a great product. I was so skeptical of the idea of waterless, but UWW works really well.

I have been using the BF waterless wash concentrate. I like the mix ratio 1:48. When looking at the ratio's and the amount you can make with a gallon, makes BF a good value too. D115 is a good product but the mix ratio is 1:4 for waterless. One Gallon of BF makes a whole lot more of waterless wash.

I did an analysis / spread sheet of some of the popular ones and at mfg published ratios UWW+ came in second at 1:44 and Pinacle came in third at 1:32. D115 came in last. I have not experimented with non published ratios much but I imagine most of the products could be cut a little and still be effective. I had it broke out at cost per ounce I could make with a gallon and it was interesting. I also have to watch using sale prices in my analysis.

When you look at the cost for ounce made at the smaller sizes (16 oz concentrated) UWW+ edged out BF a little on cost per ounce made. I don't know if UWW+ was on sale when I did my analysis or not but it was a little less expensive at that size. When you look at the pre-mix stuff in the pump spray bottles, based on cost per ounce, UWW+ wins at that price point as well Meguiars came in 2nd. Pinnacle 3rd and Blackfire 4th.

I have been using the BF stuff for a while. And I like it a lot. I purchased the kit that came with the Pressure pump spray and the three Microfiber towels and I haven't looked back. I felt the whole kit was a great value considering the cost of the MF and the pump bottle as a stand alone. From here on out it is gallon only for me....:D

on a coated veh < PB spray and wipe

on a clients, Pinnacle Liquid Gold RW- QD dilution

just to clarify, I dont actually waterless wash, I would just rinseless wash. I dont like dirtying up my towels with WW

Just picked up some spray bottles. Gonna mix up some of the new Wolfgang Rinseless/Waterless wash tonight :)

Me too! I'll be taking some home with me tonight. My car is in the perfect condition for either a rinseless or waterless wash since it's not too dirty (I washed it last Friday). It just has light dust and water spots.
