I've found that the more I buy the more I just want excuses to buy new MF. Brushes too, I have found I like brushes.... :D

I sorta suspect that my current preference for the plush ones is related to my use of Drying Aids; I still like WWs for the glass where that's not a factor.
 
I use drying aids with the WW. Currently Meg's UQD, soon to be LT. Do you just like the plush since it probably holds more of the drying aid?

Actually, I hadn't thought of that...I swap out Drying Towels as needed and the "oversaturation" thing never caught my attention with the WWs...but maybe that did factor in.

I generally like the plush ones with Drying Aids for several reasons:

-If the Drying Aid gets off any residual dirt (yeah I know, but [stuff] happens and IUDJ is a good cleaner) I believe the plush towel is safer

-Similarly, if I do a fair bit of rub rub rubbing (which is more likely with, say...a wax-while-drying product) I again believe it's safer

-The knap is better able to get into crevices/etc., which my vehicles all seem to have a lot of. Less of a consideration when it's just water, more of one when it's a Drying Aid
 
Now you're just giving me more excuses to get the plush towels. ;)

Never thought about the knap getting the crevices easier.

I thought I might get in trouble for what I originally was going to put in there.

So many typos when I type on the phone and I think "Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk" is just too boring.

They're actually mostly sent from work. :)
 
I recently got drying towels by TRC. Large waffle weave towels. Can easily dry an entire car with just one towel. Certainly makes washing a lot faster. Love it
