I prefer to stay off the roads even with my 4x4. There are just too many people who get stuck or spin out and hit someone that ends of blocking the roads. Around here, ice is more of an issue than snow and difficult with any most any vehicle.

Yeah, ice is the big challenge around here too. The right tires make it easy to manage, but that doesn't help much regarding other drivers.
