It's been a lot of work and it's still not done. The entire building is masonry block, mounting baseboard and crown with tapcons was a real challenge. The stripper pole picture and a few others kept rotating when I tried to post them. Ill try to add them when I have more time. sigh

I'm in western Pa, and the pole was my wife's idea. I was actually against getting it. Turns out everyone spends more time downstairs attempting to use it. Not very glamorous but the reality is most adults just hang on for dear life and spin. The kids call it the fireman's pole and have fun climbing on it.

It is in the garage and thank you. The trim was a lot of work that I did entirely myself.

I guess I missed that comment the first time, LOL! There is some sort of abandoned car shop I drive by sometimes and I used to fantasize about moving in there, it even had what looked like an office upstairs (you know, for a bedroom!).

I mean that's the classic Autopian line, "I'm looking for a large garage with a small attached house..."
