The Ultimate Canvas ~ 60 hour fresh shave...

So this is the full process of when I bought my 06 S60R.

The canvas...



What we have...

Whole car resprayed
Orange peeled horribly, never sanded, just compounded. (It wasn't a soft peel, the car was literally orange skin!)
180-250 Micro Read all over :D

The process...

APC W99 Wash 1 hour
Aggressive Clay 2 hours
Wheels pulled - Sonax wheel cleaner plus 1 hour
Brakes Replaced - Calipers cleaned 1 hour
Wheel wells Coated with Car-pro Dlux 2 hours
Exhaust pulled an replaced W/ IPD Catback. 1 hour
Engine scrubbed with 1Z W99 as well. 1 hour
Upper half DA sanded W/2000/3000 Trizack 30 hours
Lower half done with Car-pro Denim an FG400 2 hours
1st pass FG400 - 8 hours
2nd pass FF3000 - 6 hours
3rd pass Jeweling SF4500 - 10 hours
Full Eraser wipe down - 1 hour
1st coat CQ UK - 2 hours
2nd coat CQ UK - 1.5 hours
CQ Dlux - Window sills & Cowl 1 hour
CQ Flyby30 - All windows 2 hours

Great work Joe! That is an insane amount of time but the results are awesome. I wouldn't let anyone touch the car after all that lol. Did you have some down time to do this all at once?

Well it was separated, The initial sanding actually left super fine pig tails . My initial combo was just FG then pf 2500 but I wasn't satisfied so the following week I want back, compounded even harder with FG an a Rupes 21/CPwool. Got everything out completely, followed up with FF3000 then SF4500. I worked non-stop on both cases... ugh my hands hurt.

I actually wasn't going to bother with it but, I had another client with an S60R. after I did his... I said thats it!
