Sarasota Center for Building Hope Car Show 2014

i tried to get ron to spring for the new silver metalic mclaren, unfortunately he left his six figure limit credit card at home. lunch on my card was more my speed. that was fun ron.

Ron you can save $620 on that McLaren if you exclude the car cover. I would send you one on the house ;)

Whoa! Someone tell the guy with the Ford GT about a SpeedMaster Wheel Brush!

Sweet collection of cars in that slide show. I know that the 69 Mustang was your obligatory shot for me. The Pantera also took me back. The black Vette was certainly in its element.

Nice turn of car for the show! Thanks for sharing. But what I really want to know is what LSP did you end up using? Was it BlackIce as the poll suggested?

In my mind, the ONLY hybrid worth a darn. :)

Actually I took a few shots for you/me. Gotta think PIA to work on

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I tried to buff out the reload disaster...... Started on the top of a quarter panel and part of the hood. A black pad with dp coating prep polish. Well, high spots still there, coating gone. :(

So re-wash, dry with spray and gloss. Put away for the night before.

So now I gotta polish out the whole thing before the Disney Vette show

Ah ok, wasn't sure if i had missed what you ended up going with when Autopia was off-line. When I saw the perfectly detailed black Vette I figured it must have been yours.

Looking forward to the Disney Vette show re-cap.

I was wondering as well....What did you end up going with Ron??

Hey Ronny, If I were you, I would try the EXO v2. It was excellent for the 2 years it lasted. Might even last longer in FLA?

Its easy to apply, the best beads I ever saw and pretty mar resistant. Not as resistant as the OC 2.0 I have on the Wife MDX but if you wash right (and I know you do) I think you will love it.

Let me know what you decide.

BTW-these are the only 2 coatings I have experience with firsthand and over time.

Mebbe have Stephen go grab some before he moves down here....... :) YAY kid is moving here.

I have a couple of bottles of PBL coating and 1 1/2 large bottles of uk sitting here.

and a TON OF WAX

Just annoyed that I have to re-polish again. I tried to get some of the high spots down the other day, high spots remained, adjacent coating was gone :wall

Hold off till kid show up

Kid = Free Labor= Profit. :)

When do you want to polish it out? The Vette show is on Saturday right? I hope I can play hooky, I'd love to come help bring home another trophy.

Thanks for sharing, Ron! And wow, was your Vette shiny!

Tell Meghan and Jason that you bring a bunch of flyers to show. We can put em on the windshield for people to grab
