I really have no idea (I`m not overly familiar with PB`s products, although I have used Natty`s Blue and Red pastes before).
Pretty much all carnauba waxes are going to be oil based... What I mean specifically is that much of the look of the wax comes from the heavy oil content, which is why most great looking (heavy oils that create a difference in sheen) waxes don`t last too long.
While Midnight Sun features super high quality oils, it also uses the most advanced polymers that allow for a better `grip` on the surface. With most waxes use are literally applying oil to the surface and counting on the wax to keep it there (this isn`t a bad thing!!!) but with Midnight Sun you will get a direct benefit from the polymers as well.
Wet Diamond makes it harder for more traditional waxes to stick, which could limit the difference in appearance as well as any durability benefit.
Your BMW looks amazing. I was thinking of getting some Midnight Sun to go with my Wet Diamond and this post was actually cinched it for me.
I just picked up the Fire & Ice kit myself. Can`t wait to use it! Todd did such an excellent job on my car though, so it doesn`t need it yet!
