Auto Pick-up & Delivery Insurance Questions...

I have a friend who has her Expedition picked up at work, then delivered back when done, by a local "detailer" (a subject for another post

) and who says I could pick up quite a bit of business by doing this.

My question is, what about the insurance? She says that their (the owner`s) insurance will cover the car as I drive it, but I don`t want to take chances.

Does anyone have experience in this area? Thanks, y`all!!

Take a look at your own insurance policy. I know mine will cover me if I am driving someone else`s car.

This is what`s confusing -- I`ve heard that the car`s policy covers the driver, then my insurance for me driving someone else`s. I guess I just need to call State Farm and ask!

I would be afraid they would cancel me if I filed a claim and they knew it was business related. Then we`d end up in sub-standard insurance land -- a scary place to be! :scared
