    Hi,

I`m looking to buy 2 buckets with grit guard and was doing some research online. I came across two websites selling this product:

    1. Home Page - Grit Guard : Home of the Grit Guard Insert - Grit Guard : For Scratch-Free Cleaning

    2. 5 Gallon Professional Wash Bucket with Grit Guard -- I would need to buy 2 of these

Is there any other company selling this product at a better price? The bucket dolly thing seems to be pretty expensive and it adds quite a lot to the price along with buckets/grit guards... is the dolly-thing really worth the price?

I think buying 2x of these buckets with grits from autogeek will be a cheaper option without the bucket dolly thing. Please enlighten me.

    Thanks...

These prices seem absolutely ridiculous...Can you buy just the grit guard? If you can buy a random bucket from anywhere for probably $3-$6 and put the guard in. If not try and make your own grit guard...no I dont know how but will think of something before I pay those prices...

I use the 5 gallon buckets from Lowes Hardware. They fit a grit guard well, you can get lids for them, they`re cheap, they have squishy handles, and best of all they`re clearly marked on the side for measurments to help you get the same soap solution every time.

I was going to say the same thing.

Lowes Clear Bucket, with the gallon markings on the side are my favorite!

Lowes gray buckets dont allow the grit guards all the way down. they only about halfway which means itll require alot more water. i learned the hard way

Chemical Guys has a good deal on buckets/grit guards: $25 for a heavy duty bucket with lid, grit guard, wash mitt and a bottle of their Citrus Wash.

I got mine at US Plastics, I prefer a 3.5 gal bucket, the Grit Guards are $8.15 at USP. They don`t seem to have the Grit Guard dollies at USP anymore (unless I got them direct from Grit Guard), and yes they were expensive...and I`m not sure I would do it over.
