I`ve usually heard it touted as a rotary-centric product. With the huge push towards DA usage lately, maybe that`s part of the reason it`s fallen off? I can name exactly 2 pros I see use it regularly and that`s pretty much it.

I have used a lot of Ultrafina/Ultra Fine polish and personally still consider it one of the best finishing polishes on the market. All polishes can `fill` or `mask` defects as a by product of lubricants that are designed to create a film on the paint as a polishing pad rubs against it a 60 mph. It is asking a lot to have this same lubricating film simply wipe away with a brief swipe of a microfiber towel.
There`s definitely a bandwagon effect with most products, but at times certain things come along that you wouldn`t try otherwise, and these can be so remarkable that they almost force you to shelve your other products. For me, the most recent "good" bandwagon was the MF system and I`ve honestly been using my foam cutting pads less and less. The foam worked fine before the MF pads, but thanks to the MF "bandwagon" I`ve found something I like better.
I guess what I`m saying is it can cut both ways.
