I bought a custom made backing plate for my DW443 today. It is manufactured by one of the pad manufacturers in my country. Now, it`s in 5" size instead of the original 6" (150mm). To replace the backing plate, you have to remove the 4 torx screws. I find it to be very noisy as compared to rotary buffers. My unit runs from 4000-7600opm. There are several versions, and I think UK`s version runs much faster than this.

So as I understand, the Dewalt 443 makes rotating and orbital movenment like a PC.

If so, then I`m lucky because they sell this here in BElgium, were I cannot find a PC for that price ! (Have to order in the States + buy a 110-220 volt converter...)

Does de Dewalt 443 accept the SFX or DAS pads as sold here in the shop ?
