I have chrome rims on my Lincoln, can I use Zaino on them? The winters can be pretty tough here, and I want to protect the chrome from pitting or getting messed up.
Thanks,
Brad

I use Zaino on chrome, plastic lense covers, bug screen, and just about everything else.

I have Z2 on my chrome wheels, without Z1, as most recommended that. The theory I hear is that the Z1 is not needed, because the Z1`s purpose is to bond to the paint, as sort of a "primer."
But, I also hear that Z1 is a bit of a curing agent. If so, then it might make sense to always apply Z1, first, even to chrome.
Do you have any info? Or, a speculation?
You can Z1 the wheels....I don`t with great results. Zaino will still cure without Z1.
I read that the Zaino Glass Polish works great to clean chrome. Then you can Z2 over that.
Show- that makes sense, as the Glass Clean contains abrasives (very mild).
DK -- thanks for the info.
I drive a Lexus IS350 and it has a small amount of wood grain on the interior. I`ll attach a picture I found off the internet which is exactly like my interior, just a different color for the seats.
In any event, the wood grain area has what looks like a plastic cover over it and it has light scratching/swirling on it.
I was going to try some PlastX on it, but was worried I might make it worse.
Any thoughts on what, if anything, I should do?

I have used an AIO with very nice results.
Good luck.
Hey that looks exactly like the Lexus I traded in for an `09 Jeep Grand Cherokee ! My IS350 was Tungsten Silver and had the Mark Levinson Stereo, etc...
I only had 2k miles on it so it didnt have time to get scratched, but I would also try an AIO, Zaino makes one that has very mild abrasive and puts down a coat of Zaino at the same time.
Just be careful, use the softest material you can find and work it gently.
Beautiful car, nothing like it.
