ONR Rinseless Wash Mix?

Several people have commented on the fact that it takes 1/2 as much ONR as it does DP 4 in 1 to use them for a rinseless wash.

Several people also have commented on using ONR at 1 oz. per gallon of water rather than the 1/2 oz, suggested by Optimum.
Just out of curioisity, how many ONR user mix the product at 1/2 oz. per gallon as recommended?
If you use more, why?
What do you feel is the benefit?
Do you see any negatives when/if you use the stonger mixture?

I usually mix up 2 oz ONR with 3 gallons so it is a little bit more than the recommendation.
I add a bit more only for extra lubricity since it can be used as a clay lube but I cannot really tell any difference.

I mix it per the label instructions. There was a thread on Topia about this. There were some guys that use to make it using extra ONR for more lubricity, but eventually figured out that it had no benefit at all. These guys are pretty picky about their cars too. They now mix it per the label instructions, for what it`s worth.

My usual procedure is one gallon for washing, one gallon for rinsing the mitt.
Because of not wanting to dilute the wash mixture with plain water from the mitt rinse, I put about 3/4 of an oz. in each.
Our water is 150 mg/L or 8.76 grains or less according to the local water works. I did check a report and it appears to usually be in the 6 to 7 grains area.
I have not had any adverse effects at that mix strength.
I have also used 4 in 1 at the recommended 1 oz, per gallon and for some reason didn`t feel I needed to add any extra to compensate for hard water. The thought never crossed my mind.
Kind of seems likely that if the 4 in 1 works when used as directed, the ONR will too.

FWIW, I don`t see any real difference in the use or results of the two products. I pretty much just use whichever one I pick up.
