My father in law only purchased this beautiful Jaguar a couple of months ago, and this was the first time he`s visited since. I had a quick look over it and boy was it suffering - a poor respray at some point had sealed a lot of swirls under the current topcoat, which itself was suffering a multitude of swirls and deeper scratches. My armoury is quite limited at the moment, so I could only go at it with MGC shampoo, Quik Clay, SSR2 via PC, SSR1 via PC, AIO via PC and finally UPP by hand. The interior was strangely perfect, but the tyres and trims needed some work, achieved using PW BNB and NLD. Finally I buffed all the chrome using Autosol. I was quite pleased with the results, but I couldn`t get all the swirl marks out - need more skill (and bravery!). I couldn`t get any before pictures because it was hammering with rain when I started - yes, I washed it down in the rain, the folks next door must think I`m mad! Then it was straight into the garage and down to work.

With great care! I always reverse on, but my father in law turned up before I got home and went for the lazy option! I have had the odd argument with ignorant people who park directly opposite the driveway... :grinno:
