Okay guys...finally got a camera so I can take some pics (other than with my lousy camera phone).

Below are picture of a Lexus I did a couple days agao. I gave the owner a demo of my paint restoration abilities by putting a tape like down the middle of the door panel and polishing one side. Needless to say, he was convinced.

I performed a 3-step buff process with the rotary - 1) orange LCVC pad (new style) with HTEC/OP, 2) white LCVC with PO106FF, and 3) green P2 (AB pad) with PO106FF (all at about 1500 RPMs give or take). Finished with 4-star UPP.

Owner had me come back and do his other 2 cars too (and even better, referred me to his friends).

    Few more "after" shots here.

And I almost forgot to mention...he told me he had Lexus "detail" it several times, but each time it seemed to come back with more scratches. I told him it was because they probably put more scratches in every time they wash it than they actually remove during the detail...ala the local car wash "details."

Yeah, the good news is I have a nice camera...the bad is that anymore, I rarely have time to play around to take, upload, and resize pics so I can post them here. Oh well.

My step-father bought me the Kodak EasyShare Z740...I think it was on sale for less than $200. Seems to work just fine, though it`s only 6 megapixel.

6 MP is more than enough. I just ordered a Pentax K110D Digital SLR camera through my air miles. I`m really looking forward to taking pics with that camera, I have been using a Canon 2MP camera for about 5 years now.

Nice work. What are these new LCVC pads you are talking about? Are you referring to the new CCS type pads?

Yeah, I just couldn`t think of their name right off hand. The CCS pad in orange. But the white was the original LCVC. I like the CCS and LCVC pads for heavy polishing, but I sure wish the CCSs didn`t have those dimples.
