Hey guys, well I detailed my gf`s dads porsche the other weekend, finally got some pics up, I didnt have my camera with me so I only took a few with my gf`s camera, sorry for no before pics, I`ve got one of the car but thats about it but anyways

The car is garage kept and was in great shape, after I clayed it it had some nasty holograms and moderate swirls, I didnt want to use any compound so basically did this process

    -Wash with NXT

-Clay with pinnacle Poly clay (poorboys S and G for lube...works great btw)

    -Wash

-Optimum Polish on Orange pad, PC set at speed 6

-Optimum polish on White pad, PC set at speed 6

    -Poorboys EX with caranuba

-Poorboys spray/gloss wipedown in some areas

-going to apply a coat of nattys blue after the EX sets up

    Interior

    -Vacuum

-Door panels/dash scrubbed where needed, didnt treat with anything based on personal request

    -Carpets scrubbed

-Weatherstripping/rubber sills treated with 303 Protectant

    etc...

Sexy, I usually don`t like tan interiors but for some reason I love the way it looks on your car.

From another `06 997 owner.... GREAT JOB!! Very Nice!

Interesting, she ordered it with black dials on the cluster. Normally they are sliver/white in color.

Nice exterior color. Not too many 997 are ordered with this color. With Porsche, you can give them a sample and they will paint your car "paint to sample" for a cost of coarse!

Maybe you also experienced the very unique the odor for Porsche leather and interior if it`s a non-smoker car. When I took delivery, the smell from the interior struck me. It is a clean odor, not a heavy leather smell as other new interiors, and I have FULL LEATHER! This is also why Zaino Z-10 (which I really love) is way too strong for the interior. I`m finding that 1Z Lederpflege or possibly Sonus Leather treatment works well due to low odor.

If this car does not have paint protection film on it, I`d advise she get it installed.

Once again, great job !! :2thumbs:
