I am putting my car up for sale and I was taking out my stereo system and on the trunk I had a magnitized XM radio Antenna on the back. Well I took it off and there are some bad scratches all around the magnet. I am new and have yet to buy anything to start detailing so what can I use to make that area look better. I have Megs Scratch X and some 3m swirl Remover at home. But i do not have a polisher yet So what can i do..

    Thank you so much,

ScratchX by hand might be able to remove the scratches. If they are really deep, you may be stuck with touchup painting.

I would follow the directions on the Scratch X container, and just do that by hand. It sounds like you have them just in a small area so that should work. Scratch X is made for use by hand.

Wipe of the product with a MF towel, yes. You can get MF buffing bonnets if you wish, which will replace the need for a MF towel to remove the product.

    Pads for the SSRs:

I use yellow or orange for use with SSR3 and SSR2.5, sometimes green for 2.5.

For SSR2, I generally use green.

    I don`t have SSR1, but I`d use a blue pad.

For AIO, I use green or blue pads. For bad oxidation I`ve used AIO with a yellow pad.

For Nattys, use a gray finishing pad or apply it by hand.

BTW these colors all refer to Propel pads.

Those pads are from ExcelDetail. 1z UPP would be good by hand on those scratches.
