I have something similar to these, (metal vs plastic) to hold the mats in my Civic Wagon, and they do a great job.

Yep, those are what I have in my car too. I actually have the hooks on my floor that would go through factory mats. But I bought my car used and it didn`t come w/ factory mats. Had some custom cut, but the place was out of gromets at the time. Went back to em a couple times and they never got any in stock, so they just gave me those clamps. Work like a charm.
Awesome, now tell me exactly how they work? What part attaches to the floor? Im a bit confused or im possibly burnt out from studying and am just not understanding anything right now.
The pointy sticks go into the floor carpet. Then the clip holds on to the floormat.
FYI, anybody who finds this thread in a search, I found Lloyd`s Ultimats, which are quite high quality, on the cheap here http://carmansgarage.zoovy.com/c=CF0...roduct/LLYDU2F
$54.90 for the front 2, only $15 more for all 4. $10 shipping. Everywhere else seemed to price them around $85 for the front 2 only.

yep, any auto accessory shop, department store, should carry those metal pins or plastic clips for holding your floor matts in place....
i use a set of 2 in my car & it works a treat....
i hate it when they ride up towards the pedals....
double sided tape doesn`t work & haven`t tried velcro....
