Dealerships only pay their detailers 4 hours flat rate for an interior and exterior full detail. That is supposed to include scratch removal and stain lifting the whole 9 yards they just don`t add an LSP. Nobody can bring a car to that much perfection in 4 hours. So they just speed right through it. This is how it is in my area. And most dealerships as well. They`re there to move a product so they don`t spend much on the detailing as it makes no difference. On top of that experienced detailers don`t want that job as it doesn`t pay enough. So they don`t really require much if any previous detailing experience. Spend some time at a dealership looking even at new cars. A lot of them have wash marks and brush scratches and such. IF you want a perfect car they`ll do it and apply sealant for an outrageous price.
