I am having problems with meg #40 streaking my black exterior plastic. Did I use too much or is this the nature of the product?

After applying it on the outside of your car you should take a clean terry cloth and wipe off the plastics to remove any excess sitting on the plastic. It was this excess that ran on your car. No need to do this on the inside as it won`t see the rain!

This is why I only use a dressing-based approach on exterior plastic if/when a LSP-based one won`t work. Which isn`t very often.
