    FD vs. FI

FD is not body shop safe, it does produce a higher gloss and the cost is defiantly less!

A gallon of Final Inspection is $22. How much less expensive is FD?

I`ve used #34 FI for a long time. It`s one of only two QD products I keep. It`s always been good :xyxthumbs

FD contains silicones which for the majority of us here, are of no real threat for anything. I can only think of one instance where it might be a problem which is in between sealant layers and not washing before. i.e.- SG, spray FD, then do a coat of SG. The silicones would wash right off with a normal wash. These silicones produce markedly glossier and slicker finish. It almost looks as if you have a nice coat of #7 (minus the fillers of #7) without the hassle. It is a true bargain at $15/gallon.

Even if I leave a redirect in this forum with the "Moved --->" thingy next to it?

I don`t see why it would matter. This thread won`t stay right above the one he was referring to. They move by recent posts...
