I`ve been checking these out, and they are very appealing. All the aspects of a sporty car with a pickup bed for detailing stuff. I like it, do you?

I love it. I had heard rumors that it out-ran a 350Z on the track (not drag strip, of course.) Whether it`s true or not, it`s still a darn good looking truck none the less.

Had it been in my budget, I would have seriously considered one.

I love it too, it`s got the same 245hp V6 in my 4Runner and has an optional supercharger. The only thing that bugs me is that the X-Runner only comes with rear drum brakes.

Toyota used the 350Z as the "benchmark" when they were designing the X-Runner, so it`s supposed to be really close to it. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I think it is a pretty cool truck, but if I was to get one, I`d prefer the X runner underpinnings on the stock appearing Tacoma. Sleepers are much more fun.

    I think it out-slalomed the 350, IIRC.

Read the Feb. edition of MotorTrend on their 2005 Truck of the Year. The X-runner pulled .89g on the skidpad and 65 mph through the slalom. The 350Z pulls .90 on the skidpad.

I was just looking at Tacomas for a few weeks and I don`t like those models. I want a truck for a truck. I don`t want it lowered with ground effects to get ripped off. If I was to have my pick at any new truck right now it would be the Tacoma Nismo model.

Yeah, I hear you. I didn`t buy it because it was a truck. Although, It has come in handy having to haul stuff now and then. I bought it because it was affordable, sporty, 6 speed manual, not a lot of `em around, and it will hold its value like crazy. BTW, I think you meant NISSAN for the NISMO.

Yeah, I meant the Frontier. Sorry about that. But don`t get me wrong, they are beautiful trucks.
