I know how you feel. I have version 2 of the Griot`s polisher and it works well for me. I don`t plan to polish all that much.

I`m more on the fence about a CR Spotless system, but I`ve never seen a water spot on the cars I wash except for a few on glass that easily wiped off. The thought of drying`s being optional is the big deal for me. I`d love not to have to hold that Master Blaster for twenty minutes after every wash.
