How come this wasn`t posted in the Optimum forum? I`m sure the good doctor would give us the low-down. ??
I don`t think the doc has even showed up here yet, he was supposed to pick winners from a contest weeks back, Jesse did that.
OPT marketing department seems like its not existent, they drop a huge bomb and theres no one around to explain anything.....weird way to do it.
When AG drops a product, its in an email, newsletter, forum and they have a review up within 24hrs showing how it works, OPT can`t even get their video on the site to play right....

As I said on AGO, I don`t think they were planning to drop a huge bomb, information provided to the pro applicator network was made public which caused an inadvertent release of this info, etc. I think they were waiting for the distributors to sell down their OC 2.0 inventory before they released Gloss-Coat.
That being said, isn`t OPT`s marketing dept. always non-existent? They don`t hype anything, opposed to the the norm in this industry. The only other player that is as low-key as Optimum is Duragloss. I think it`s no coincidence that both of the companies are owned by chemists and both of them make products that are considered to just work, not much flash but plenty of substance.
So here`s a question: Can you layer Gloss-Coat on top of an existing layer of OC 2.0?
I`m with you on all of that, however just IMO. Give everyone something, and by that I mean a working video on your own website at the least. I enjoy the low key aspect both DG and OPT go about their business, they let the products speak for themselves. But when something as big as opti coat is replaced, at least think of a way to let the public know what`s up, pics or something at the least. .

There has been too much confusion due to the similarity of the names between Opti-Coat Pro and 2.0. Some have also taken advantage of this to misrepresent Opti-Coat 2.0 for Pro. Gloss-Coat should remove all these issues. Gloss-Coat is an all new coating that is super-glossy and as easy to apply as Opti-Seal.
Opti Coat 2.0 is discontinued as of Monday. The only product to carry the Opti Coat Brand is Professional only. But, that is not intended to take ANYTHING away from Gloss-Coat. You guys will love the combination of gloss and durability with stupid easy application.
