    Wheel polish

I have some 10 year old clear coated wheels that need polished. They arent super intricate designed but enough that I would rather not do it by hand if I dont have to. Was going to pick up the megs dyna cone but it clearly states that it ist for use on clear coated wheels. Is it that dense/course foam or is that just a safety statement to stop Joe consumer from destroying their wheels?
What other recommendations do you have for polishing wheels with a drill or DA?

    Thanks

I have a Powerball Cone and it works fine on clear coated wheels. I would say its just a safety thing on their end to keep someone from burning their clear. Someone who knows what they are doing should be fine.

I have the same and totally agree that`s a disclaimer. Two things typically burn clear, speed / heat and product. If you use a cutting polish or compound with a high speed buffer or drill and bare down on the clear, good chance your going to burn the area.

That said I have a Mother PB and use that with my air powered drill and PB pro-polish (chemical based polish) Not using a lot of pressure and keep moving over the areas, mine come out perfect.

If your going to use this with a common drill, I wouldn`t be worried what so ever!
