    Re: Opticoat on wheel barrels

I think I put some on one of the windows of the jeep I did for my buddy. It`s been 4 months and we can`t remember which window we coated. He says the glass all looks the same and one is definitely not cleaner than the others...

I`m assuming the purpose of coating glass is the same as for coating paint: dirt shedding, increase resistance to scratching, etc.

That`s something I didn`t think about. Since its really not a slick finish that it gives you I wonder if it would cause the blades to catch skip over the glass

Does anyone use Opticoat on the wheel faces? Does it have any ill effects on the stickers?

stickers? you mean wheel weights on the barrels?

I think once the OC is cured, it is bonded to the surface so wheel weights should adhere with no problem.

I didn`t even think of that haha but I was talking about the logo stickers on the spokes! Didn`t really expect it to have an ill effect, but you can never be too careful
