Zymol Vs. Pinnacle S.

Be more specific. Zymol makes a lot of waxes. IMHO, Pinnacle Souveran is in the same class as Zymol Destiny (maybe better) at a much better price.

Zymol products are overrated in my opinion. You can get much better results for other carnauba waxes which will last twice as long and have less an impact on your wallet. Souveran is awesome, I use it on two of my black cars and nothing compares! Souveran is definately worth the price and the ease of use simply can't be beat. :bow

Just be sure not to diss Zymol in front of Eurosport. He'll go on about how he's a concours detailer and how his Zymol shine will beat the shine from your Zaino/Klasse or whatever it is you use. :D

BTW, are the paint surfaces on Volvos, Saabs, Japanese cars & SUV's so different that they require different waxes?

I've heard from a number of knowledgable wax people

that Zymol Concours is unreal.

I would like to see it on a car before I spend $ 150. on

a jar though. If I had a garage queen maybe I'd consinder

it.

Has " thewaxtest " ever seen or played with Zym Concours.

I do like the fact that Mr. Bennet is a vegetarian like myself.

Apparently, thewaxtest.org people didn't think too highly of Zymol.

Zymol Impressions

The stuff is a bit too much for me to buy and test out, although I'm sure I eventually will as soon as I put a major dent in my new P21S, Blitz, #26, & 3M waxes....

Everyone keeps talking about Zymols high price. Pinnacle Souveran isn't exctly cheep. Infact it's more expensive then teh Zymol Carbon. Almost Double!

I got my Pinnacle Souveran for $40 (I think). I think the main reason why people (myself included) associate Zymol with being expensive is because of their glazes which I believe are all over $100. And then you've got that one glaze of theirs that costs $1,100.

Puter, I compared it to Carbon, I had better results with Souveran in terms of ease of use, and it was somewhat more durable. I've asked many detailers about other Zymol waxes and they've given me a response that indicated they didn't really like them alot due to price, application, and durability.

I've had good results with zymol carbon. However, Souveran is much easier to work with and much, much easier to buff out especially on a black car. Just my $.02
