ZPC or OP

Both would work, but if I were to choose on it would be the ZainoPC, because it wipes off so easily, and of course is a great base for the zaino system. Like optimum, the ZPC is pretty pad dependent on cut. The optimum will work longer, but having used both for very long periods of time, I choose ZPC.

If I just had one bottle of polish or compound it would be ZPC. Very flexible if a bit pricey.

Solid black or metallic black? Solid black Porsche paint is pretty soft, I'd tend to go with Menzerna 106FF or maybe FPII instead. Metallic black, you'll get excellent results from OP, and I am sure ZPC too, even though I have never used it, people here whose opinion I trust have and love it.

yes, it solid black. Scottwax, I have seen pictures of your work on a Porsche. Thanks for your input. What to you recommend as a wax?

Thanks to everyone who offered advise. Really appreciate it.

Wax or sealant? Personally, I'd polish with 106FF or FPII, follow with Optimum's Poli-seal and a carnauba. Poli-Seal and Souveran looked amazing on a black Cayenne Turbo I regularly detail.

I was reminded of the a porsche Sean (g35stilez) did and he mentioned, that because the paint was so soft, and even 106ff left some light hazing, he went with the zpc.
