Can you apply Z5 with ZFX in the evening, and let it dry overnight and buff off in the morning? I applied it about an hour ago but I'm tired and it got cold and I don't feel like messing with it tonight if I don't have to lol.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply, now I can take my shoes off and relax:D

Tomorrow I think I'm gonna order some P21S from autopia-carcare.com... I'm thinking that topping my several coats of Zaino with P21S will not only fill my swirls, but make my car look hella good.:) Anyone else found this to be true?

I don't think P21S will fill your swirls. It may make them a bit softer due to the oily nature, but if you have swirls it won't make them disappear.

Hmm, can anyone recommend any good Carnauba waxes that will fill them? I'd try NSX if that would do it also. I'm afraid to remove them, and can't afford a pc on a college student's budget heh. Most of you guys know what I'm talking about lol.

Really the only thing you can do is use a glaze that will try to hide them or try to tackle them by hand, then do your Zaino, or just layer up Z5 and hope for the best. The oils in the glaze won't let the Zaino adhere to the surface, hence the reason swirls need to be removed before applicaiton.

Well fellas, I put about 5 coats of the new Z5, and so far...wow. I looked at it in the sun and it looked stunning, I'll have to wait until a really sunny day to really tell, but so far I'm very impressed with Z5.

Here are the After pics, refer to the before to see the difference. I know it's not the exact same angle and lighting, but it should still give an idea on how it looks now. Sorry for the large pictures, it's as small as I could make them so they still showed detail.:)

Get a job :) I got a PC while in high school and trust me, its one machine that is well worth it, easily the most used piece of equipment in my arsenal.

Any non cleaning carnauba wax will not fill in the swirls. A good swirl remover with a PC will remove them.

I am in college and I had to get a grave yard (9-4AM) shift job to keep up with my second hobby (flashlights.)

Trust me, the PC is worth it :)

Heh I wish I had the time. I'm doing intern work at a mental health clinic, so I kinda have a job except I don't get paid lol. Anyrate, the new Z5 seemed to hid like 99.5% of my swirls. I looked at the car under sun, but the sky had a couple clouds and the sun was like 95% showing through. Under no cloud cover, the car may still look like crap, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I think the Z5 might have done what it's supposed to do though.

The first time I used Z5 to fill in swirls caused by a drive through car wash (yeah I know I know:o), and it worked wonders. Swirls were about 99% gone. I followed Sal's directions to a T.

The second time i used Z5 to fill in swirls was when the Honda dealership gave me a "complimentary" wash, and swirled my car to hell and back. I did NOT follow Sal's directions, and treated Z5 like a carnauba wax. I applied it waaayyy to thick, and consequently even after letting it sit overnight, it still smeared like hell and never filled in my swirls.

The third time I've used Z5 to fill swirls was today. After the tree hit my car and it got repainted, the idiots swirled my paint big time. I went back and followed Sal's directons to a T, and so far, it appears to have worked well.

I couldn't be more pleased
