Z'd Z71 Chevy Silverado

Hello folks,

It has been far to long since I have posted pics, so here is one of a few I promise to post in the next few days. I must appologize for the sub-par picture quality, but it was a heated garage and I didn't want to let the cool air in when I pulled it out. (It was 6 F outside, and 55-60 F inside). :)

Awesome work! Really a lot of flake in that paint, never would've thought it.

LoL! I had a speaker come in for my Business Administration course at school (CEO of Verizon) and he kept saying "Questions... comments... concerns" after every powerpoint slide; really got the points across though.

6 degrees outside! I was bit*hing about 33 tonight!

The truck looks great -especially the flake shots!

Did you run the ro-zilla over the flares too wild man?

Mgm - Tough up lol. I would pay money above freezing temps. Yes, the rotary was used on the flares, and every other piece of paint. :)

Diesel - Thanks! The zaino REALLY accentuates the flake of any paint. I have test CS stand alone on about every other detail for a durability measurement. I know it will exceed 4-5 months easy, so I am not worried about that.

Very nice......:xyxthumbs

Minnesota would seem to be a great place for pro car care detailers.

Is you business greater in the winter time.....?

Anything special treatments for underbelly salted street driven daily drivers....?

I must be a man trapped inside a woman's body, because 6 degrees is INSANE! The reason I say this is because it doesn't look like you washed that bad boy in the garage, with some heat.

What speed did you hit the flares with (just curious). I still bust out the PC or cyclo for trim pieces.

p.s. -Shots 2, 11, and 12 really show off the finish! Great work Greg. I'm sure the owner was very pleased with your results.:2thumbs:

Winter sucks in MN. Besides being ungodly cold, no one cares about their cars. As much as I try to stress the importance of a well detailed vehicle prior to winter, only a few get them done.

I make sure to give the underbody a good degreasing and pressure wash!

ED2065 - Full interior, engine, exterior took a hair over 6 hours.

Mgm - I hit the flares with 1200-1500. I just be sure to be VERY aware, and don't have any problems. Also, the car was washed prior to my arrival, probably at a car wash. I have to stick to QEW or ONR's these days...

Looks great, even with less than optimum lighting. :)

Maybe when it warms up to 7 degrees you can get some outside shots. ;)

Thanks Scott. As a rule, I like it to be at least 20 before I stand outside for 10+ minutes taking pics lol.
