Zaino'd Silver Lamborghini Gallardo

This is a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. It's AWD and pushes out 550 horsepower :woohoo: . It's a pretty neat car to look at. Probably one of the most exotic and futuristic cars on the road as well as its big brother the Mercielago. It has so many lines which makes it a little difficult to buff in certain spots. It took me forever to get all the water out of the cracks because there are so many nooks & cranny's on the car.

The car was in good shape to begin with besides some minor scratches in the paint. Engine was pretty clean as well as the interior. Wheels needed to be cleaned badly.

Here is my process:

Washed complete exterior, wheels & engine compartment

Buffed scratches with Optimum Polish with foam cutting pad by rotary

Buffed complete exterior with Optimum polish with polishing pad by rotary

Dressed tire & wheel wells with Kar Kraft Super Blue Dressing.

Sealed wheels with AIO

Wiped down exterior with IPA solution

Hand application of ZFX'd Z2 pro x3

wow ! nice car.. but lambo silver sure doesn't allow for any "pop" ..

gotta be one the most "lack of silver clear" i've ever seen..

with oc , then zaino, you'd think that silver would've looked deep and wet, and popped !!! but it doesn't appear so. which is no knock to you, cuz i've seen your work and its good. But i guess, its yet another reason why I'll choose a Ferrari over Lambo when my CCIE is done :D

There is something to say about the energy that emanates from a vehicle like that. Must have been a blast to work on.

Theres nothing left to say about your work that hasnt been said already! Car looks beeter than new. I bet all those angles were a pain and Im sure those wheels were difficult to clean.

Aww, man!!

What I wouldn't give to just detail cars like that!!! Lucky!!!

I agree, silver isn't best on that car...but its a Lambo!!

Those wheels are some of my all-time fave production wheels!!!

The Zaino looks awesome, BTW!

Beautiful car, great detail (excellent attention to detail), but once again Zaino leaves me cold on silver - there is no real depth to the finish. 3 x OCW would have produced a very different result, based on my experience - dripping wet with massive depth in the reflections. Not knocking your work though, great job. :up
