Zaino is certainly an excellent product. Probably the most sophisticated product of its kind on the market. It contains no abrasives, no oils, almost no solvents (smell it), and no wax. If you compare that to other products used here you'll find Zaino quite unique.
To my knowledge there is nothing on the market more durable than Zaino. Some people get excellent durability from other products but if you look into it you'll find that has more to do with their maintenance procedures and how their cars are used. When compared objectively, its almost impossible to beat Zaino's durability.
Appearances are totally subjective so its hard to put a lot of stock into what looks good. Zaino is very reflective and doesn't tint or alter the paint's appearance. If you want your paint to *pop* then Zaino is the clear winner IMO.
Like most products, surface prep is the key. Polish the paint correctly, remove the defects, and get your paint ready for the final step. This is where the hard work pays off. Zaino's strengths are durability, reflectivity, and slickness, all wrapped up in a state of the art product. Is there another product like this on the market? Not to my knowledge.
