First....I want to say Hello to everyone and ask my first question on this forum.

I heard of zaino as a very good product.

Can anybody confirm that?

How does it perform incomparison with other products?

TIA

Let me be the 1st to welcome you:wavey

Zaino,

if you put the word into the search-machine you'll be reading for the rest of the week-end:D

Seriously,

I'm a zaino-user and I'm very happy with it, and so are many others,

but,

there are allso others who use other products and are very happy with that.

Happy detailing

It's a great product!

BUT: there are lots of other great products.......

Be careful what you read on the internet - Zaino is NOT the end all be all of care care. It is a great product that fits a need - not all needs, not all styles, not all desires.

When it comes to car care there is not "best"

~One man’s opinion~

You’ll hear this (in one iteration or another) the ultimate shine: 90% Preparation, 4% Product and the balance, in the ‘guy’ of the beholder

I’ve been doing this detailing thing since the ’50 and seen 1,000s of ‘miracle’ car care products but; it’s as true now as it was then, there is only one ‘best’ product, what you like, what your eyes see as best, what you think makes your vehicle look best.

Zanio is a good product; the manufactures statement that it’s the best is called ‘hype’ to enable their product to sell by making ‘somewhat’ exaggerated claims for it.

- What they all said.

I've not been here long but I've already forgotten most of what I thought I knew before.

Don't be afraid to try new stuff out and don't worry of you don't get excellent results first time out - it's the pursuit of perfection which makes this so much fun!

And welcome to Autopia!

Zaino is certainly an excellent product. Probably the most sophisticated product of its kind on the market. It contains no abrasives, no oils, almost no solvents (smell it), and no wax. If you compare that to other products used here you'll find Zaino quite unique.

To my knowledge there is nothing on the market more durable than Zaino. Some people get excellent durability from other products but if you look into it you'll find that has more to do with their maintenance procedures and how their cars are used. When compared objectively, its almost impossible to beat Zaino's durability.

Appearances are totally subjective so its hard to put a lot of stock into what looks good. Zaino is very reflective and doesn't tint or alter the paint's appearance. If you want your paint to *pop* then Zaino is the clear winner IMO.

Like most products, surface prep is the key. Polish the paint correctly, remove the defects, and get your paint ready for the final step. This is where the hard work pays off. Zaino's strengths are durability, reflectivity, and slickness, all wrapped up in a state of the art product. Is there another product like this on the market? Not to my knowledge.
