Has anybody here tried the new Zaino Z2-Pro and Z8 besides me? :dunno

Would love to hear some other opinions. :D

Z2Pro is the best sealant I've tried, a huge upgrade from the old Z2. As for Z8, it adds a nice slick surface like Wolfgang or UPP, but doesn't do much else. If your the type who likes sprinkles on your cupcakes try Z8, but for the money I would just stick with Z2Pro, it doesn't need a topper.

Hello , I have been lurking for a while.... I have used the Zaino system for a while, and the Z8 is a big improvement in the final steps of the detail. Z8 seems to cure for an extended periond and the reflectivity seems to increse for 2 days... I also have been using the Z8 instead of Z6 between layers of the Pro. Great stuff ! :mohawk

Yep, I have to agree. The Z8 is excellent stuff. The Z2-Pro is also a wetter/glossier product than the old Z2! :bigups

I used some Z2 Pro with the ZFX accelerator from a neighbor that swears by it on my uncles Caddy, slate gray in color. To tell the truth I was pretty disappointed in the Zaino treatment. I put on two coats just like everyone says to and the results were not what I was expecting after hearing all of the raves. I personally feel that the whole system is pretty expensive to begin with and that the FMJ I usually use would have looked better. With the Zaino the shine was definately there but the deep warm look I like was non-existant, I am not a fan of that wraped in plastic look. I guess you can chalk it up to either differences in opinion or the fact that I let my neighbor mix the Z2 and ZFX :lol. I'll probably give it another shot before the summer is out but it is not on my list of products to order as of right now.

I use FMJ, among many other products, and I think Zaino, not unlike other products is very prep sensitive...I had mediocre results until I broke down and striped the paint and re-polished it...Zaino is so easy to get results from, I am suprised to hear of disapointments.

Good points guys! For those who prefer a deep/warm look... Zaino is probably going to come up short when compared to some other products. On the other hand, those who prefer a very clear/reflective look will probably like the "Z".

I also agree that it is very prep sensitive... it will hide "nothing"! Still, I approach my prep the same no matter what product I'm using... as close to perfect as I can get it. :D

Hi all,

Well the one thing that i rate zaino ahead of all (most) other lsp is the longevity of the end results. The clean wet look remains for plenty long and longevity of slickness at least for me lasts longer than just about anything else. So for those who find it "harder to use" or are hesitant to try it, the above reasons should be plenty reason to give it a shot. :headbang

even if durability is of no concern you can always put on more Z2pro or Z8 whenever you feel like.

Prep and Z process does take time but IMO its hard to beat. The longevity is great compared to others. Can't wait for the new Z cleaner/polish.

Should be out soon! (end of this month or so)

I like it alot. I offer it as a $10 upsell to my customers looking for the creme de le creme combination of shine & durability.

I like knowing the customer is leaving with a great shine and great durability.
The majority of my details will not be routinely waxed or QD'd so the durability factor is good to offer those types.

Its deep wet shine cannot be beat/matched by anything I have ever tried. Goes on and comes off easy. A little goes a long way. I am unsure why anybody would use anything else.

Agreed. Zaino is very hard to beat, and the combination of Z2-Pro followed by Z-8 rivals some of the carnubas I used to swear by. Then the durability of Zaino is really hard to top.

Ditto!!!

Just started using the new complete system this weekend (including polish). Big surprise from loving wife and daughter for Father's Day. They gave it to me on Friday knowing with very little free time that this weekend would be wasted if they waited to today.
This system is.....Outrageous!!!

Process:
Z7 wash
Clay
Menzerna IP (PC polishing pad)
Zaino PC Fusion (PC polishing pad) WOW!!!
Z6
Z5/ZFX x 3 on Saturday with Z8 between coats
Z2-PRO/ZFX x 2 with Z8 between coats

Will Z8 on Wednesday after initial applications completely cures.

I have had a very good experience with my useage of Zaino also, but i would be full of crap if i said it was a million times better than anything that is commonly talked about.

Its not. Its nice, real nice, but its not in a league of its own.

Totally agree. It is almost as irritating as some one stating that carnuaba is the only means to get a deep, wet shine. General statement usually are worthless.
