Zaino Z16 Good Stuff?

I really like Z16. Quite durable, a true tire sealant, and shine can be titrated to the level of gloss desired.

Do a SEARCH "Zaino Z16" and there are many discussions about this product.

I like the look but it does not seem to last for me. Two rain showers and my tires look like there is nothing on there. I cleaned them each time with simple green, let them dry and followed up with an application of z-16.

You did everything correctly.

Your previous cleaning should have displaced any previous silicone-laden protectant that you used that would hinder Z16 bonding and penetration into the rubber.

You might want to try several applications without the Simple Green cleaning between applications. Just wash normally with vehicle shampoo. Z16 will not repel dirt but after a normal wash the tires still have some residual gloss though matted when compared to a fresh application.

Hope this helps. Let us know. :wavey

I'll give it a shot without the simple green. Its worth trying for the looks.

sticks well to some tires....not so well on others....looks good...if you like the look....not so much if you don't.

I love the z16 dressing as it is right where I like it on the scale of gloss. Its glossy but does not have the greasy oily look that some dressings have. I have had good durability with my car that gets parked outside 24/7, as it usually lasts week or 2 at max with no rain. When it does rain the dressing tends to last about a week. The smell is great too. One thing that prevented me from trying it for so long was the price, but with one trigger pull I can do one a whole tire on my cavalier.

Pictures speak a 1000 words! Z16 on new tires after four days and a drive of around 300 miles through high temps, bright sun, and torrential downpours

Tried it and no dice. Still nothing left after a 20 mile drive in the rain. Trying on wife's car now to see if it doesn't like Goodyears.

It's awesome stuff, IMO the best tire dressing, but it is pricey...

For now, I'm using up my mini-stash of PB BnB which also works well...

I'd say Z16 is the BEST dressing, but there are many BETTER THAN AVERAGE dressings out there like BnB and EO Protectant
