I have been appling Zaino Z10 for my seats for quite a while now, and I usually apply it every month. Usually about every 3 months I will use Z9 to clean them first before applying Z10, since my seats do not see any abuse or dirt I don't do use it beforehand each time. Anyways it seems like my seats are starting to develop some wrinkles and feel kind of dry on one area of the lower seat back bolsters. I don't see why since I am very careful getting in and out not to rub against the raised bolsters or lean on them to cause this. If the car is outside in the sun for extended amounts of time I will usually throw a towel on them to keep the sun off, so it is not from the sun.
I understand that there are different types of leater and some is more thicker and durable than others, but it doesn't seem like this should be happening with seats that are only a few years old. My car does Recaro cloth and leather seats, so I'd think that they are somewhat decent quality.
The only things that I can think of causing this is applying Z10 maybe too often than necessary, or it is the Z10 all together taking out the natural leathers oils causing the leather to dry out an develop wrinkles. I want to keep my leather looking as new as possible, so if it is indeed related to Z10 I want to stop using it immediately and start using something that will work.
What do you guys think? Could this be related to the use of Z10 or is it just the natural way of leather?
