Zaino under hood

Hey all,

I am going to put Zaino Z1 and Z2 on my wife's Xterra firday and was just wandering if I should apply it to the under side of the hood?I did not do this when I did my truck because the Zaino was new to me and I just wanted to get it on the outside paint.Will the engine heat effect the Zaino?Does anyone do this on thier hood?Thanks
 
Any nicely painted surfaces under the hood can be Zainoed. I do it on the vette. The parts of the hood that get hot are covered by the hood blanket anyway.
 
First off let me tell you I enjoy your post and humor and hope your well:D My cars do not have hood blankets and are both all painted with no type of installation under hood .This was one of the reasons for my post hate to see this paint messed up from lack of protection.But was not sure about the heat issue.Love your vette hope to have one when I grow up;)
 
I used Klasse AIO under my hood, and its still as smooth as the day I applied it...so id say its probably safe to assume that Zaino will hold up just as well.
 
speaking of underhoods... how do you guys clean yours? mines actually never been cleaned before since i got it 2 years ago. i dont think spraying it with a hoase is a smart idea caus it will get ur engine all wet and might leave spots and so forth. do u guys just use a wet rag or towel with some soap?
