This happens to me from time to time. I get to looking at the white Jag, totally "zing"-less, and think, "OK, it's time to try a different product on her." Happened last weekend. Then early this week, I put in one of my curbside/detailing-past-midnight sessions on her. And fell in love with Zaino all over again.
But this time, there was a new wrinkle: As I started washing the lower rockers, I noticed some really hideous slings of tar on the lower rockers. And said to myself, "uh-oh, gonna have to bring out the big guns to get rid of those." Wrong-o! I attacked them with my Z7 and older chenille mitt, and those puppies came right off with minimal scrubbing, and without resort to any tar removers or more aggressive scrubbers. :shocked Was I shocked? You betcha. And thrilled to boot.
Mind you, I'm not saying Zaino is the only sealant that will do this. But for my money, the way Zaino (and probably other sealants) (a) cuts down on the difficulty and time-consumption of my washes and (b) reduces my need for my aggressive cleaners makes all those online orders and shipping fees well worth the money.
