Zaino on Silver

After I finished the Z treatment on my wife's black Tahoe, I was curious to see what it looked like on my silver STS.

Process Used:
Wash: Optimum
Clay: Optimum
Polish: ZPC & LC Polishing Pad using the PC @ 5
Seal: ZFX/Z5 x 2, ZFX/Z2 x 1
Final wipe down using Z8.

Total Time: 3 1/2 hours. I had the heat cranked up to 75 in the garage, which helped the cure time (about 10-15 minutes per coat).

Here are a few after shots:

You certainly have got the shine on silver!!

Amazed on the time that you spent. I guess I am just getting old. Looks like that take me longer.

Nice job!!

Thanks. The paint was in pretty good shape, so no need for multiple polishing steps, or it would have taken me a lot longer.

Looks Great! and quick work too. Now you just have to anxiously wait the heating bill...

Boy oh boy are you busy!

I cleaned the kitchen today instead of the car :(.

Looks great...I'm sure the sun will make that paint come alive even more.

Your caddy looks great! Is that an STS-V or is the metal grill an option or aftermarket piece?

Thanks Mikeyc. I wish it was an STS V! (LOL). It's a dealer installed/after market grill, but I like the look too.

Sean - The sun was in and out. In the sun it looks awesome, but I didn't see the same dramatic difference on silver that I saw on black using Z.
