Just did it today! I use my PC, a blue LC pad and about 2/3 of an ounce and get 2 layers. I apply using about speed 4.5.
Many have said over the years that you waste too much product with a PC but I've found with the right application technique it makes it much easier and faster. Again, 2/3 of an ounce and I had some left over. I don't think that's wasting too much product and is about the same amount if I applied it by hand. Even did my wheels.

To me, the application of any sealant, (Or wax for that matter), is not something I use my D/A for.
Tried it and didn't see any benefit.
That's just my feelings and may not be the case with many people.
I haven't used Zaino for a long time, but other than their Z-PC and possibly their Z-AIO, I wouldn't use the polisher with their products either.
Since you specifically asked about Z-2 and Z-5, I personally would apply either product by hand.

To clarify what I meant.......
The sealants you mentiond are "drops only".
That's why I said you'd probably waste too much.
IMHO Listen to people who have used it, so don't listen to me.

I have used it both ways. When I first started using Z2 or Z2 Pro I used the PC with blue pad and some Z6 to spritz the pad. I did think it was faster and easier at the time. But after a few years I decided that applying it thin is the winning combination so I went with hand application to get the thinnest spread of the product possible.
I think both ways are fine but I found that I use less if I apply the product by hand. I also found that it became faster by hand as well considering set up for the PC and clean up of the pad.

Thanks for the reply , Iam getting sort of the response I thought might turn up. Now, are you using a little cut with Z-6 when applying or straight Z-5 ?
Is that with a red pad ?
But Charles, why would I do that ? I have you pro's around here that have been there dun that.....trying to learn sum thin here....

I always apply z2/z5 with my flex or pcxp. I find it easier and more even that way. Use very little product.
Are you applying without pressure ,with just the weight of the machine? and with what color pad ?.....:thanks

I have started (within the past year or so) applying LSP's with a PC or Flex. I feel that I can apply a more uniform and thin coat, making residue removal a lot easier. Not to mention speeding up the LSP application.

Sometimes I put some pressure on it. I want to work that sealant in real well.
Green/white/blue/red pads. It all depends on what clean pads I have at the time.
