I have been working on the garage and the car has been outside while I am working and has gotten quite dusty over the last few days. I used the cal. car duster on it today and was amazed how good it looked by only dusting it off and was even more impressed how good the black looked in the sun. The pictures are not the best since I just got the digital camera and it is only the second time I used it.

Mostly z5, but a coat of z2 every so often. Have to use the z5 to battle the swirls all the time. There are probably about 25 coats on the car.

Fantastic look! I still can't believe that some people think Zaino doesn't do the job on black cars. Black Z'd cars at night look totally unreal they're so gorgeous.

WOW, your WS6 looks amazing!! I have a big passion for those cars, and yours looks sooooo good with Zaino.

Keep up the great work! You've got a beautiful 'Bird man!

I think Zaino does an excellent job on older cars. I used a clay bar on my 1996 blue Jeep Cherokee with over 130,000 miles and Zaino (The prep and then the polish) it really brought out that "fresh off the showroom floor" shine. I took good care of it, but its unbelievable how good some products are. However, I tried it on my 2000 Black Hyundai Elantra and it smeared like crazy and came out like crap. I think its better for older cars.

Heres a picture of my Jeep. 130,000 miles and not garaged kept. The results speak for themselves:

I believe that the Hyundai paint or prep were in fault. It is completely false that Zaino only works on older cars. You need to look at your procedure used to apply the Zaino and from what you stated the problem may be from not allowing the polish to dry completely. Zaino does smear if you treat it like wax and do not allow it dry completely. The usage of Z1 followed by Z2/5 really creates a problem because it requires 2 coats to entirely dry. Try again and be patient or order some ZFX. It is unfair to come to a conclusion about Zaino and new cars because of your bad results which appear to be user not product error.:nono This is probably why Sal does not sell his product via stores because of reviews and results like yours. Please try again and follow the procedure, especially about drying. Also review your application of very, very thin coats.
