Zaino 8 layers vs. 4 layers

Well, I finished coating 8 layers of Zaino EFX/Z2 pro. You could go to my Yahoo photo album for comparsion between 4 vs. 8 layers.



The 4 layers pics were taking around 11 am and around 4:30pm.



The 8 layers pics were all taking around 7 am.



All the above pics were taken with one thing in mind. Get the most REFLECTION as much as I can. Won't comment on my side yet. Feel free to post your opinion. I know it is hard to judge by pics without seeing the real thing (specially the owner myself is keeping the lip shut :D ).



If you look at the index of album, you will find the repaint process of the car 5 months ago. It could be your guide line. It was in the paint booth drying.





Can you see the difference?

i can't tell the difference, but i'm sure the paint can :D



At one point in time i had over 20 layers during the course of one summer.. couldn't tell the diff from 20 from 3..
 
cant tell whats what but thats one hell of a shine!

Hope my new bimmer looks that good when i zaino it.

Work, work, and more work.. looks like your work is showing a great look. i cannot tell the difference. if it looks good to you then i say"Go ahead on!"
 
Here is what I think between 4 vs 8 multi- layers for Zaino. Inside the garage under flourest light, it gain little more reflection. Outside with close up inspection, clearer image.



Will I add more Zaino? NO. I might try Souveran that I have later.



Am I sure will not putting more Zaino? NO, because I am currently influence with Peers. Things are hard to forecast. :D
 
The biggest difference in terms of shine and reflectivity i've seen when layering Zaino was when i applied the 1st and the 2nd layer. After that there's not much difference.
 
IMO that many layers is just for bragging rights and wasting product-like the guy who had 75 layers on his car-I could put 10 coats of NXT booster wax on my car and it would look good too-if you put 1000 coats on your car you get a Zaino certificate saying your car is protected from door dings and scratches :p
