Z6

I tried out Z2(ZFX - three coats) for the first time and had a pretty good experience. However, I tried to wipe the car down with Z6 after the first coat, and had a horrible time with it. Streaks everywhere that wouldn't buff out. I ended up with a light distilled water mist and a fresh towel to clear it up before the next coat, and didn't touch the Z6 again after that. The Z sprayer is flat out junk, which doesn't help. I'm considering diluting with distilled water in a better sprayer before giving it another shot. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

The first thing that I thought of is that you used to much product to get the streaking. Find a sprayer that you like and try again before you dilute the product. As with almost any Z-line product.....Less is more.

If you feel that you did not use to much product then disregard. There is nothing wrong with diluting. I have mixed 50/50 Z6 to distilled water and still get good results.

I just never have had a problem removing Z6. The only Z-line product that even approached difficult for me was when I applied to much Z2Pro and tried to buff off before it was completely dry.

How much were you using per panel?

You can dilute it with distilled water a bit, but it will reduce its effectiveness some.
