Z2 + other QD???

Has anyone used any other QD with Zaino (Z1 base + Z2) as their sealant? Just wondering, as I've found Z7 can be easily replaced with any other good quality wash soap.

In particular, I'd think #40 FD would work nicely, as it has no carnauba (?). I'd stay away from Mother's Showtime or WAUD of course.

Thoughts? TIA guys!

FD, now replaced by Last Touch, sounds like it could work. I thought the Mothers QD was wax free as well

Showtime is a wax-free product.



It can be used safely.

Yes, I agree. Mother's Showtime is a good replacement for Z6. Contains no waxes, produces nice gloss, smells good and is not expensive.

I believe Last/Final Touch might contain something that could interfere with Zaino.

Showtime is my fav. QD (except for smell, for which no one will ever de-crown Z6) so I'm really glad to learn this.

I made the assumption that Showtime had carnauba in it, after using it before I looked at the directions. I would spray it on an app., applying it like a thin liquid wax, finish the whole car letting it haze, then buff it off with a soft towel and WOW! Does it shine when you do that! I now know it says not to let the product dry on the surface, but have been secretky itching to try this method again.
