z2 bonding issues in 24 degrees

24°f is pretty darn cold. I think the lowest temp I have used Z2/5pro is 40°. I can't say if it effected bonding. My guess would be no. Did you try and put it on thin? How much did you use for how many applications?
 
I just buffed off some Z2 yesterday and it was less than 20 degrees out. I did apply it 30 hours before, however. When it's this cold I let it sit overnight.
 
I used very little (i used less this time then i have ever used). I let it sit for about 30 mins and then wiped my finger across it and it didnt smear, so i wiped it off.
