What do you all use to apply Z16 on your tires>? I have been spraying it on for the last few years but the new chrome rims are on there way and I dont think that the spraying way is going to get it anymore:( So what do you use??

ya I tried tire swipes a few time and didnt like them to much

#1 because it seemed like the Z16 just soaked in to them

#2 My low profile tires are small and it doesnt work to well on them

Redcar, you used this one or the regular wedge looking swipes. I have 17" 45 sidewalls and apply 4 or 5 drops to the applicator. It spreads it just fine.

Old Foam applicators, Old terry applicators, Old applicators in general

First I wet the app with water and wring out very well....then I apply the dressing.

PS my sidewalls are huge!

Redcar GUY,

I feel your pain. The tires on the Explorer have raised white lettering and the tire swipes, even the SUV ones, don't work very well. I use a foam pad to apply the stuff, a few sprays will do the entire tire. You might want to give it a try, it's pretty much the method we are stuck with. :(

Z-16 comes in a spray bottle now?

Have you tried E1 swipes? Cut the E1 Swipes in half for low profile tires. Put 5-6 drops of z-16 on the swipe and dap/press it against 3-4 spread-out areas of your tire and then start working it in. To get to the Z-16 that has soaked up, find an area that still needs more product and apply a good amount of pressure against it. Some of the soaked up Z-16 should come out and then start spreading it. That seems to work for me. The Z-16 bottle I have seems like it is going to last forever.

I use a spray bottle and dampen it with a few squirts of water, then spray a few squirts of Z-16 on it and dress the whole tire, reapplying when needed. Make sure you don't SPRAY the z-16 near the car as the mist will get on the paint.
